This month’s meeting will feature a motivational speaker that will focus on our psyche as it relates to our bodies – “I look fat”, “I can’t do it” and other things we say that aren’t helpful! You’ll walk away with inspiration and a few tools to help you overcome that negative talk.
The Quarter Pounders group is focused on healthy choices – focusing on the special needs of women over 50. Please join us for a Bring-Your-Own-Lunch each month. Our purpose is to promote health and wellness for our members and provide a support system for members looking to improve their health.
Members pay a $2 QP fee to join and we weigh in at the start of each meeting.
After weighing in, members use the sign in form to enter their name, choose UP or DOWN arrows to denote pounds gained or lost and calculate their Quarter Pounder Fee. Members pay $.25 for each pound lost or $1.00 for each pound gained. All proceeds are donated to CWC each quarter or used to host fundraisers such as walks or other activities the group may wish to offer.
Weigh-Ins should commence within the first 15 minutes of the meeting, with the remainder spent on member introductions, and conversation over lunch.
This group and its members are not medical professionals and do not prescribe or recommend weight loss medications or protocols. Quarter Pounders members foster discussions and each member must make their own decisions about their health and speak with their doctor before starting any diet plan.
